The PTSD Justice Project was founded by John M. Masters, Esq., a nationally respected labor and federal litigation attorney with a passion for representing those who’ve served and survived.

Founder Bio

John M. Masters, Esq. is a nationally respected labor, ERISA, and federal litigation attorney with over three decades of experience representing labor unions, benefit funds, and working families.

He served as legal counsel to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and two of its General Presidents. As founder of Masters & Associates, he litigated complex matters in U.S. District Courts nationwide, earning Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV Preeminent rating for legal ability and ethics.

In 2025, he founded the PTSD Justice Project to ensure trauma survivors—especially veterans—receive the advocacy, justice, and diversion they deserve.
